man you people are demanding. i can't even go away for a long weekend without you all up in my face. whatever will you do when i'm gone for an entire week in july? my long weekend: four days of mostly nothing punctuated by pixar, cake, cheetos, giant spiders, dominos, slot machines and pain. now i'm back at work and looking forward *cough* to a long, long day. seems, in the panic to not forget anything, i forgot my glasses. i should be good and blind by the end of the day. let's hope that the small favour which is subway for lunch will help make it a little more tolerable. otherwise, how was your weekend?

Pitiful. My weekend was pitiful. Saturday, I was coming home from doing some bass fishing. I exited the highway and was slowing down on the exit ramp when my entire left wheel on my boat trailer popped off. I'm talking tire, rim, hub, everthing. Insane! I had never seen that happen before. So, I spent from about 12:30 pm til about 5:30 pm working on it on the side of the highway off ramp. Run to the store, buy bearings. Run back. Run back to the store to get a new spindle nut. Run back. Wrong spindle nut. Back and forth, back and forth. About 3:30, realized we had the wrong size inner bearings. Finally got all the right parts and put the hub back on then put the spare on the trailer and got my boat home. How much fun was that? At least I wasn't going down the highway at 80 mph (which is 124 km per hour for you canucks.) Spent Sunday afternoon doing all the things I was going to do Saturday afternoon. Like finishing my champagne bottle display case.

Oh, and your demanding fans are demanding more photos!

My weekend was boring. Same stuff happens everyday here in the land of the unemployed. There's just more people at the stores on the weekends.
