i woke up this morning sure it was thursday. i was getting dressed and packing my stuff as if i was going straight from work to a union meeting and then to a blog meet thingie. luckily it isn't thursday because if it were, my dad would have been very late for his plane as i'm supposed to be taking him to the aiport at 6am tomorrow morning.
oy. this is going to be such a long week. and it's not even half over!
today is flu shot day. i hope i don't die.

Wait, you get flu shots?? Don't let that get out, the antsy whiney people who can't stand to be sick a day will be storming the borders (if they're not too busy beating up the elderly and sick to get a better place in line here).
yeah, we get them through work. although, if you're over 65 or under 2 (i think), you can get them free at the doctor's.
I get mine in a week or so, and I need to make an appointment for E's shot. I think they're great.
You can also get a free flu shot if you have regular contact with seniors and/or children - through work, volunteering, or otherwise.
Geesh, in the US, a children's medical center was just broken into and robbed of all of their flu vacines. Panic much? It's the fricking flu. I don't quite get it.
