after the pot with the oil on the stove caught fire and the full bottle of diet pepsi rocketed itself off the coffee table onto the livingroom floor, i wondered why i even tried to get out of bed yesterday.
today isn't looking much better.
but, today is the day serenity comes out on dvd and i'm going to get myself a copy. yes. yes, i am. seeing it three times in the theatre just isn't enough for this fangirl.

I didn't know ya were a Firefly nut. Very cool. My respect quotient for you amazingly rose higher yet! Ya got the season box set? Futureshop has 'em on for like 40 bucks. Sadly it's short. Why do they do that? We get a series that is finally actually worth watching and renews my hope in TV and the network cancels it?? There's NOTHING worth watching on the tube these days. Sigh.... Buffy annoyed me to no end, couldn't stand it... but at least Josh showed he can make somethin GOOD as well as trendy ;)
i bought the firefly box set the weekend it was released. and no dissing of buffy, nor angel. all joss does is golden. mm, joss.

Are they showing Veronica Mars in Canada? I've been going back and forth on it this year, it still is witty, but it seems to be having a bit of a sophomore slump. But I'll give it more time, since it was the one thing I would NOT miss last year, I've become a bit hooked (and there are so many competing storylines [big part of the problem with this year, I think], if you miss a week, you're way lost]).
I, too, rushed out to buy Serenity, and I, too, got a lump in my throat at the post title. Not only are you the bee's knees, you are the cat's pyjamas, as well.
