I'll see your ruptured ACL and raise you a ruptured MCL, LCL, PCL, PLC, and patellar ligament.... oh wait, broken is bad, this isn't a contest :(

Sucks re: meniscus damage w/fragment esp. - that could def be painful. I presume you are booking surgery - any idea who will be your surgeon or how long you will be waiting?

Yay for getting the MRI though, it's nice to finally know exactly what the problem is!

it's funny, all these years i knew about the cartilage tear and just dealt with it. but, now that i know about the ACL rupture, oh boy... is my knee sore! it's all in my head, i know. i just find my head funny sometimes.

my GP put me on the list to see a surgeon in richmond. the guy i wanted to see has an 18-month waiting list just for a consult (no wonder, he's one of the best in the city). i expect if i see his office before summer, i'm doing pretty well.

Me too! Same thing... last time I saw my surgeon it was a consult only, no new news - I already knew how broken I was. And yet, my knee hurt like a $@%$ for 3 days after seeing him, when most days it doesn't hurt much at all!

Positive thinking... positive thinking... positive thinking....
